Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

ByteRemix is operated by Hassan Nawaz, a sole proprietor based in Pakistan. This policy explains what data byteremix.com collects and why. Contact us at hassan@byteremix.com with any questions.

Our products have their own privacy policies. If you use ByteRemix Maps, the policy published there covers that service, not this page.

2. What we collect

This website has no accounts and no login. We collect only what you send us and basic anonymous usage data:

• Enquiry data: the name, email address, company, project type, budget range, timeline and message you submit through our contact form. Every field except name, email, project type and message is optional.
• Analytics: anonymous, aggregated page view data. No cookies, no cross-site tracking, and no attempt to identify individual visitors.
• Anti-spam: when you submit the contact form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you are not a bot. Your IP address is sent to Cloudflare for that check.
• Server logs: standard request metadata kept by our host for security and reliability.

3. How we use it

Enquiry data is used for one purpose: to read your message and reply to it. It is emailed to us and kept in our normal business email. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not sell your data, and we do not run advertising trackers on this site.

4. Cookies

This website sets no cookies. If you change the light or dark theme, that preference is saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. It never reaches our servers and is not used to track you. Clearing your browser data removes it.

5. Who we share it with

We share data with these providers, only as needed to run the site:

• Cloudflare: hosts this website, delivers the contact form email, and provides the Turnstile anti-spam check.
• Umami: our analytics provider. Umami is privacy-focused, does not use cookies, and does not collect personal data.

We do not sell or rent your data to anyone, and we do not share it for advertising.

6. Data retention

Enquiry emails are kept for as long as they are commercially useful, so we can pick up previous conversations. If you would like your enquiry deleted, email us and we will remove it. Analytics data is aggregated and holds nothing that identifies you.

7. Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Email hassan@byteremix.com and we will handle it. Since we only hold what you sent us through the contact form, these requests are usually straightforward.

8. International data

This site runs on Cloudflare's global network, so your request may be processed in a data centre outside your own country. Cloudflare maintains its own security and compliance programme for the data it processes on our behalf.

9. Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
