1. Who we are

ByteRemix ("we", "us", "our") is a software studio operated by Hassan Nawaz, a sole proprietor based in Pakistan. If you have questions about these terms, contact us at hassan@byteremix.com.

2. What these terms cover

These terms apply to your use of the byteremix.com website and to any design, development, hosting or support work we carry out for you. By using this website or engaging us for work, you agree to them.

Our individual products have their own terms. If you use ByteRemix Maps or Simple Web Scraper, the terms published on those sites govern that product, not this page.

3. Enquiries are not a contract

Sending us an enquiry through this website, and any quote or estimate we give you in reply, does not create a binding agreement. Work begins only once we have both agreed a written scope, price and schedule, whether by signed proposal or by email.

4. Project work

Each engagement is governed by the scope we agree in writing. That document sets out what is being built, what it costs, when it is due, and what we need from you to deliver it. Where these terms and a signed proposal disagree, the proposal wins.

Delivery dates assume you provide content, access, approvals and feedback within the timeframes we agree. Work that expands beyond the agreed scope is quoted separately before we start it.

5. Payment

Fees, payment schedule and currency are set out in the agreed scope for each project. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, invoices are payable within 14 days. We may pause work on overdue invoices. See our Refund Policy for how cancellations and refunds are handled.

6. Ownership of work

On full payment, the deliverables we build specifically for you become yours. We retain ownership of any pre-existing tools, libraries and internal components we bring to the project, and grant you a perpetual licence to use them as part of your deliverable.

Third-party software we use on your behalf, including open source components, remains under its own licence.

7. Showing our work

We may reference your project in our portfolio and describe the work at a high level, unless you ask us in writing not to. We will not publish confidential information, source code or anything covered by a non-disclosure agreement.

8. Acceptable use of this website

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading or automated enquiries through our contact form
• Attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to this website
• Scrape or republish the content of this site outside of normal browsing

9. Disclaimers and liability

This website is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of this website or from work we carry out is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of this website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
